If you are new to sports betting, the most important part is understanding the basic workflow: choose a sport, find an event, review the available market and odds, add your selection to the bet slip, enter your stake and carefully review the bet before confirming it.
This guide explains the complete sports betting process shown through the MelBet-style interface in the screenshot above.

Follow these steps to build and confirm a sports bet.
Create a MelBet account or log in to your existing account before using the sportsbook. You need an account balance to place a real money wager.
Open the Deposit section and use an available payment method to add funds to your account. Check your balance before selecting a bet.
Open the Sports section and choose the sport you want to follow. You can browse categories such as football, cricket, tennis, basketball and other sports.
Select a tournament, league or competition and then choose the specific match or event you want to analyze.
Open the event and review the available betting markets. Different sports can show different market types and selections.
Click the odds corresponding to your chosen outcome. The selected market is then added to your bet slip.
Open the bet slip and enter the amount you want to stake. Review the displayed potential return and the selected odds.
Carefully check the event, market, selection, odds and stake. When everything is correct, press the Place a Bet button.
Odds represent the price associated with a betting selection and are used to calculate the potential return from a stake.
When you select a betting outcome, the sportsbook displays an odds value next to that selection. Your potential return depends on the stake and the odds displayed when the bet is accepted.
For example, with decimal odds of 2.00, a theoretical ৳100 stake would produce a total return of ৳200 if the selection wins. The original stake is included in that total return.
Odds can change, especially in live betting. Always review the final odds displayed in the bet slip before confirming your wager.
Example values only. Actual odds vary by event, market and time.
MelBet's betting guide lists several bet formats that can appear depending on the available market.
A single bet contains one selection. The result of that selection determines whether the bet wins or loses.
Multiple selections can be combined into one accumulator. Typically, all required selections must be successful for the accumulator to win.
System betting combines selections into predefined combinations. The exact rules depend on the selected system.
A chain-style bet can connect selections in a sequence. Availability depends on the event and betting interface.
Lucky betting is one of the bet formats listed in the MelBet betting guide.
Multibet is another available format listed in the platform's betting workflow.
Live betting allows you to select markets while an event is already in progress. The supplied screenshot shows a dedicated LIVE section where ongoing events can be browsed.
Select the Live section from the sportsbook interface to view events currently in progress.
Live odds can change as the match develops. Review the current market and displayed odds before making a selection.
Select an available live market and add it to the bet slip, then review the stake and final odds before confirmation.
If One-Click Bet is enabled, clicking available odds can immediately place a wager after the required setup and confirmation. Because this reduces the confirmation step, use it carefully and make sure the selected stake is correct.
The bet slip is where selected markets are reviewed before a wager is submitted.
After placing a bet, you can review previous wagers through your account's betting history.
Log in to your MelBet account and open the account area.
Navigate to the betting-history area to review previously placed wagers and their status.
Check the event, selection, stake, odds and result associated with each recorded bet.
If a bet wins, the resulting amount is reflected in the account according to the applicable settlement rules.
Sports betting involves financial risk. Always treat betting as entertainment rather than a way to generate guaranteed income.
